Why Prophet T.B. Joshua Must Not Relocate to Israel – OPC Reacts to SCOAN Leaving Nigeria Following the highly talked about revelation that popular Prophet, T.B. Joshua will soon leave Nigeria for Israel, the OPC has reacted. Prophet T.B. Joshua   The Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) has called on the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua not to relocate to Israel, Daily Post reports.   Joshua recently revealed that he had plans to move his church from Nigeria.   Dr. Frederick Fasheun, the founder and the president of OPC, who is also the National Chairman of the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), in a press conference in Lagos, appealed to the cleric to stay and continue his ministry in the country.   “TB Joshua intends relocating perceivably in order to escape persecution at home, founded SCOAN which commands up to two million local and international tourists annually,”  Fasheun said.   He also charg...

NNPC to Boost Gas Supply by 285%   File Photo   The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and its partners have evolved a scheme to grow gas supply for domestic consumption by 285 per cent.   The NNPC said this in a statement signed by its Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Mr Ndu Ughamadu in Abuja on Wednesday.   Ughamadu quoted the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Dr Maikanti Baru, as having said this while addressing partners at a 7 Critical Gas Development Projects stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja.   Baru said the scheme was in line with the Federal Government mandate to stimulate the nation’s economic growth.   The gas growth, further he said, was expected to rise from three billion standard cubic feet per day (scf/d) to five billion scf/d by 2020.   Baru said,  “The Federal Government has directed the corporation to aggressively pursue gas development to jump start the nation’s ec...

Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation Staff Lock Station Over Unpaid Salaries On Wednesday morning, unpaid journalists and staff of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC, locked up their offices to kick-off an indefinite strike. The indefinite strike commences after the expiration of three separate notices the radio workers gave the management on the non-payment of their entitlements put at about N148,260,000 The workers stormed the station at about 4.30 a.m. armed with chain and padlock, which they used to lock up the door leading to the studio and other offices. The workers led by their leaders, Abiodun Ogundipe (Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalists, (NUJ), and Ayo Aina (Chairman, Radio Television and Theater Arts Workers Union,RATTAWU) had issued 21,7 and 3 days warning to the management to pay their dues.
