Alves celebrates his goal against Monaco.

Dani Alves is one of the best right-backs in football world.

The Brazilian defender joined Juventus from Barcelona on a free transfer in June 2016.

Ever since, Barca is yet to find a better replacement for the player, who continues to win the hearts of numerous fans for his style of play.

Alves volleys in the goal

He scored a stunning goal in his team’s 2016/17 Champions League semi-final win over Monaco on Tuesday night.

It was Juve’s second of the night in a match which ended 2-1, with the Italian side reaching the final 4-1 on aggregate.

Alves had also created all previous three goals scored in the tie against Monaco before his stunner.

He’s now helped Juve reach a ninth UCL final, which will take place in Cardiff on June 3.

That match will be Dani Alves’ 14th major European final since 2006.

It means he’s made more appearances in major finals than any club in Europe in the past 11 years.

As a result, Barca fans are not pleased with the club for letting the Brazilian go.

Rarely does one individual impact the world so much that nearly four decades after his death, he continues to influence several generations after him. Thirty six years after his death at the age of thirty six,  Bob Marley  still casts a powerful shadow across music, pop culture and social justice; perhaps like no other musician has done before or after him. On May 11 1981,  Robert Nesta Marley  breathed his last in a Miami hospital having spent the previous four years first ignoring, then fighting the cancer and brain tumour that cut short his life. Born on his grandfather’s farm in the Jamaican country side in 1945 to an eighteen year old girl and a sixty year old British plantation overseer, Bob Marley was a child prodigy who would go on to be the most powerful and most important person in ...
