Like Oge Okoye and Kcee: people call out Bow Wow, say he stole a picture and lied about flying private

Story highlights

Sadly, the photo appears to be from a VIP transportation service out of Fort Lauderdale.

The company used the exact same image on its website.

Shad Moss aka Bow Wow

Celebs lying on social media happens to be the new cool.

And on this week’s episode of ‘Fake Stunting’, rapper, Bow Wow has taken it to a whole other level when he posted a photo to his Instagram that boasted a private jet, Mercedes-Benz and luxury tour van.

Only problem is that the private jet isn’t his. In fact, none of it is, according to several people who were on the same commercial flight as the entertainer.

Yep. Commercial flight. The flight wasn’t even private.

Before boarding the plane, the rapper captioned the photo: ‘Travel day. NYC press run for Growing Up Hip Hop. Lets gooo. I promise to bring you the hottest show EVER.’

Luxury living or luxury dreaming?

Several posts began to pop up across social media platforms that quickly dismissed his claims and said Bow Wow stole the image.

According to one of the tweets, he was on the same commercial plane as the person who posted it.

‘So this guy lil bow wow is on my flight to NY,’ the Twitter user wrote. ‘But on instagram he posted a picture of a private jet captioned ‘traveling to NY today.’ smh.’

In Bow’s defense, he didn’t actually say that he was flying on that particular jet, but the implication was bad enough.

“Living that Bow Wow Life” = when somebody is faking and fronting that they are doing better or more than they really are. #newslang

It amazes me how Bow Wow consistently gives himself L’s with little to no effort. Truly an art form.

Let Bow Wow be a lesson: Stop comparing yourself to folks on social media. Most of them aren’t living how they claim.

Bow wow is a cautionary tale about how keeping up with appearances isn’t the move

Naturally, the 30-year-old actor and rapper has denied any of this occurred and followed up with another Instagram post with the caption, ‘My hustle is non stop. I never stop hustling.’

Same can be said for Nigerian actress, Oge Okoye and singer, Kceewho have been victims of sharing false ‘stunt’ information on their social media only for them to be caught – and immediately disabling the comment section of the said photos.

On this day 36 years ago the world lost one of its most influential music icons, Bob Marley Thirty six years later his legacy reaches far beyond his tomb in Jamaica. Rarely does one individual impact the world so much that nearly four decades after his death, he continues to influence several generations after him. Thirty six years after his death at the age of thirty six,  Bob Marley  still casts a powerful shadow across music, pop culture and social justice; perhaps like no other musician has done before or after him. On May 11 1981,  Robert Nesta Marley  breathed his last in a Miami hospital having spent the previous four years first ignoring, then fighting the cancer and brain tumour that cut short his life. Born on his grandfather’s farm in the Jamaican country side in 1945 to an eighteen year old girl and a sixty year old British plantation overseer, Bob Marley was a child prodigy who would go on to be the most powerful and most important person in ...
